Q:   How Old do I have to be to be on the team and take part?

A:   The minimum age is 12 years old by the time of the event. You must also be able to swim 50 metres when wearing a life jacket.

Q:   Is Fancy Dress Compulsory?

A:   No!! But the day will be a lot shorter and enjoyable if teams join in with the same sense of occasion.

Q:   How many people are there in a team?

A:   The organisers recommend that that a team holds 20 people with a maximum of 16 paddlers and 1 drummer in the boat at any one time. This gives you a couple of reserves for injury or just to get as many people involved as possible

Q:   Can I change my Team Name?

A:   Yes, but only up until 22 May 2009 as we would like to publish team names in the festival's programme and to the media
